We live in a culture that treats stability like a commodity you can purchase or engineer if you just plan well enough. When the market shifts, your routine breaks, or unexpected friction hits your household, the immediate reaction is panic.
The writer of Hebrews points to a different kind of stability. The anchor does not prevent the storm from happening. It holds the vessel secure while the storm rages around it.
True security is not found in the absence of turbulence. It is found in what your life is tethered to. When your peace depends on every variable in your schedule cooperating, you will always be tossed around. When your stability is rooted in an unmovable foundation, the winds can blow without breaking you.
