Scripture: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” — Ephesians 6:10–11
We often treat spiritual warfare like a dramatic event. We look for major battles, loud opposition, or sudden crises to test our focus.
Paul frames it differently. He tells the church to put on the armor simply so they can stand.
The daily friction of life does not always look like an all out war. Often, it looks like quiet exhaustion, the temptation to quit when things stall out, or the slow creep of frustration when your routine gets disrupted. Standing firm does not require a megaphone or a stage. It requires the quiet discipline of staying anchored in truth when everyday pressure tries to push you off balance.
You do not need to manufacture a defense or scramble for a strategy. The equipment is already provided. Your job is simply to put it on and hold your ground in the ordinary moments.
Reflect: Where are you facing quiet friction or fatigue in your daily routine right now? What does it look like to stand firm in those specific spaces today?
